The filter cartridge consists of a cloth filter bag (18), a fixed cage (2), a plinth (5), the lid (6) and the paper filter bag (31) attached thereto. The cage (2) is surrounded on the outside by the cloth filter bag (18) and is fixed at the open end by the plinth (5). The lid (6) bearing the paper filter bag (31) is inserted in the plinth (5). The cage (2) has cutouts (3) at its end (1). The plinth (5) has sprung projections (4) at the height of the cutouts (3). Arranged on the plinth (5) is a latch which bears against the vacuum cleaner behind a step. Even, non-jolting removal of the filled paper filter bag without tearing it is thus guaranteed. The cage and plinth only need to be plugged together and hold the cloth filter bag at the same time. IMAGE
