A box construction in accordance with the invention comprises an external framework and possibly an internal framework in the form of assembled section strips (4) which are connected with one another firmly but disengageably by intermediate and/or corner connection pieces (6) and counter- pieces (19') in a shape-engaging dovetail engagement. The section strips of the section system are so mutually adapted as regards position and formation that a direct attachment of the neighbouring plates (7) without cranked formation is possible.
