Water level detector for domestic bath - sounds alarm when water reaches set level

The system (6) is installed next to a conventional domestic bath (1), which has a hot and cold water inlet (2), drain (3) and overflow pipe (4). When the water reaches a level (5) just below the overflow (4) it lifts a flat (15) which is on the end of a cord (14). The buoyancy of the float is enough, when added to the pressure of a spring in the control box (7), to operate a switch. The switch makes a circuit between a battery and a buzzer.
