PURPOSE: A method of preparing a pre-washed rice with the content of buckwheat is provided to make the rice product bear excellent taste and flavors while facilitating the intake of ingredients of the buckwheat favorable to the health. CONSTITUTION: In a method of preparing a pre-washed rice, a material of buckwheat is cleaned, and dried. The buckwheat material is pulverized with a particle size of 30 micrometers or less. The buckwheat powder is put in water in a ratio of 20:80 to make a buckwheat solution. The buckwheat solution of 40 liters is consumed to make a pre-washed rice of 10,000kg. A non-polished brown rice with the moisture content of 14% or less is stored in a tank, and the buckwheat solution is sprayed thereto while elevating the moisture content thereof to be 15%. The rice(1) soaked with the buckwheat solution(2) is allowed to stand for one hour, and the buckwheat solution is again sprayed thereto while elevating the moisture content thereof to be 16-17%. The soaked rice is then dried naturally or by using a dryer while reducing the moisture content thereof to be 14% or less.
