PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an onboard GMR angle sensor reducing the fluctuation of output characteristics by a working ambient temperature and having an excellent heat resistance.;SOLUTION: The onboard GMR angle sensor has a GMR element changing an element resistance in response to an external magnetic field, lead conductors connected at both ends of the GMR element, and a protective layer sealing the GMR element and the lead conductors. In the GMR angle sensor, the protective layer is formed in the laminated structure of an inorganic film ensuring the insulating properties of the GMR element and the lead conductors, and having an oxidation resistance and a silicone organic film laminated on the inorganic film.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
