PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep the inner temperature of a drying chamber at a target temperature in high accuracy at all times even if the target temperature is changed with the change of conditions of a warp-sizing machine such as a warp kind, feed speed of wet warps, etc.;SOLUTION: The temperature control method of the drying chamber of a hot-air drying apparatus for drying wet warps comprises, during the operation of the hot-air drying apparatus, controlling the amount of heat of air sent to the drying chamber according to the result of PID calculation based on the deviation of the detected inner temperature of the drying chamber from a set target temperature. In the temperature control method of the hot-air drying apparatus, a plurality of at least either an integral constant or a differential constant and a proportionality constant useful for the PID calculation are previously memorized according to the target temperature and each constant corresponding to the set target temperature is selected among the plurality of the constants when the target temperature is set.
