The invention relates to a process for manufacturing a ceramic heat exchanger device. According to the invention, the process consists in: forming ceramic plates (P0-Pp) and machining these ceramic plates in the green state on at least one face, so as to produce respective flow paths (Z1A, Z1B) for first and second fluids; stacking the green plates in order to form an assembly having several levels of circulation; in carrying out a densification (sintering) 1st heat treatment so as to obtain a preassembled densified monolithic block and a 2nd heat treatment so as to ensure that the assembly is sealed by migration of a meltable (brazing) phase at the interfaces of the block. The invention applies to the production of heat exchangers or reactors. Figure 6.
