PURPOSE: A backfire prevention apparatus for a burner is provided to prevent the backflow of flame to a fuel supply part during combustion in a boiler by blowing air into a guide pipe smoothly.;CONSTITUTION: A backfire prevention apparatus for a burner comprises an outer pipe(20), a guide pipe(30), air guide grooves, and air intake holes(50). The outer pipe has an air discharge part on a side part and an air intake part(22) on an end. The guide pipe has a fuel feed part(32) and a fuel discharge part(34), and an air flow space(37) is formed between the guide pipe and the inner surface of the outer pipe. The air guide grooves are arranged at certain intervals along the circumference of the guide pipe and extended toward the fuel discharge part of the guide pipe.
