PURPOSE: A backfire prevention apparatus for a solid fuel burner is provided to prevent flame diffusion into an upper horizontal cylinder by the inner space of a vertical connecting pipe even if the flames of a furnace travel into the inner screw of a horizontal cylinder.;CONSTITUTION: A backfire prevention apparatus for a solid fuel burner comprises a horizontal cylinder(1), a vertical support(3), a blower(4), a vertical connecting pipe(12), and an upper horizontal cylinder(10). The wooden chips of a solid fuel tank are transferred by the inner screw(2) of the horizontal cylinder. Air is supplied through an air container(5) by the blower and the wooden chips are burnt in a furnace(6). The vertical connecting pipe is connected to the rear upper part of the horizontal cylinder and forms a space between paths of the upper horizontal cylinder and the lower horizontal cylinder. Even if flames travel back into the inner screw of the horizontal cylinder, the flames are stopped by the inner space of the vertical connecting pipe.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
