PURPOSE: A wet noodles containing taro powder and a method for preparing the same are provided to allow a user to manufacture chewy wet noodle in comparison with a conventional one by removing acrid taste from a taro. CONSTITUTION: A wet noodles containing taro powder and a method for preparing the same is comprised of the steps: cleaning a taro and hating it in salt water of 100C for 4-5 minutes; peeling off the taro, which is processed by enzyme; refrigerating the taro under -40C and freeze-drying it; crushing the frozen-dried taro to be powder; and kneading taro powder of 2-5 parts by weight, wheat flour of 55-65 parts by weight, water of 30-35 parts by weight, and solt of 3-5 parts by weight.
