A method for detection of mutagenic effects of fact, and especially radiological factors on the thyroid gland is suggested. Thyrocytes from the thyroid is used as the test material. As a criterion of chromosomal aberrations recorded anomalies of nuclei, occurred in the form of internuclear bridges chromosome length of 5 mkm or more in punctate cell clusters.
