PURPOSE: An arm of a 7 degrees of freedom robot is provided to reduce a number of parts by compactly forming a structure of an arm unit and to reduce costs by reducing processes for assembling the arm unit.;CONSTITUTION: An arm of a 7 degrees of freedom robot comprises 1-7th axis arm units(10,20,30,40,50,60,70). The 1-7th axis arm units comprise 1-7th driving motors(12,21,31,41,61,72), 1-7th axis arms(13,22,32,42,52,71), 1-7th encoders, respectively. The 1-7th driving motors are driven forward or backward. The 1-7th axis arms are connected to driving shafts which are rotated forward or backward by the driving direction of the 1-7th driving motors. The 1-7th encoders detect the rotating angle of the 1-7th driving motors.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
