The device (D) has two sets of measuring units (MM11, MM12, MM21, MM22) measuring distances of wheels (R1, R2) between reference points, which are spaced apart at certain length and height when detected in two selected zones (Z1, Z2). A calculation unit (MC) estimates angle of parallelism and angle of the wheels based on the distances, the height and the length. A detecting unit detects whether the wheels are arranged in the selected zones. An analysis unit determines a moment when the wheels are arranged in the selected zones.
