PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently design a primer and a probe and provide a reagent kit.SOLUTION: There is provided a nucleic acid primer or a nucleic acid probe, a design method of the nucleic acid primer or the nucleic acid probe, and a detection method of a target sequence which are excellent in detection sensitivity and specificity in detection of a target nucleic acid, gene mutation detection, mismatch detection or the like using a PCR method or an isothermal amplification method (such as a SmartAmp method, an OmegaAmp method, a LAMP method). Particularly, a primer set (Eprobe PCR) for SNP detection is designed in advance into a product by using existing human SNP information and genome sequence information, experimental verification is performed at the point when consignment of the primer set is received, and the product can be quickly provided for a customer.
