Disclosed are an electric vehicle, an active safety control system for the electric vehicle and control method therefor. The electric vehicle comprises: a plurality of wheels (5), a plurality of electric motors (3) respectively corresponding to the plurality of wheels (5), a wheel speed detection module (100) for generating a wheel speed signal, a steering wheel angle sensor (7) for detecting direction information about the electric vehicle, a yaw rate sensor (6) for detecting yaw information about the electric vehicle, and a battery pack (1). The active safety control system comprises: an acquisition module (11) which acquires the wheel speed signal, the direction information about the electric vehicle, the yaw information about the electric vehicle, state information about the battery pack (1) and state information about the plurality of electric motors (3); a state determination module (12) which determines a state of the electric vehicle; and a control module (13) which generates a control instruction and issues same to at least one electric motor (3) to enable the at least one electric motor (3) to conduct drive control on at least one corresponding wheel (5) before a sideslip occurs and before the sideslip is within a sideslip limit range; and to enable the at least one electric motor (3) to conduct brake control on at least one corresponding wheel (5) when the sideslip is within the sideslip limit range.
