The present invention provides a method for predicting a probability of stopping a fire railway vehicle in a tunnel to predict a fire hazard of a railway tunnel. The method comprises the steps of: deriving a probability distribution on a braking distance; constructing data on the braking distance from the derived probability distribution; confirming a stop position of a fire vehicle, a position and a length of a rescue station, the running speed of a train, a ratio of a braking operation and a coasting operation inside and outside the tunnel, and a weighted value of a central unit of the tunnel; and calculating a probability of stopping the fire vehicle in the tunnel using the stop position of the fire vehicle, the position and the length of the rescue station, the running speed of the train, the ratio of the braking operation and the coasting operation inside and outside the tunnel, the weighted value of the central unit of the tunnel, and the braking distance.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2018
