The present invention provides an interior component for a motor vehicle (1) comprising: a base member (10) having a front surface (10a), a rear surface (10b) and a side surface (10s) disposed between the front surface (10a) and the rear surface (10b) is provided; and an outer skin material (20) integrated with the base member (10). The skin material (20) is integrated in the front surface (10a) and the side surface (10s). The side surface (10s) of the base member (10) is continuous with the front surface (10a) of the base member (10) while forming an acute angle of the angle α therewith. The skin material (20) has an end surface (20e) extending along the side surface (10s) of the base member (10). The present invention provides the interior component for a motor vehicle (1) with a neat appearance.
