The standardization of natural gas vehicle (NGV) components and systems used in motor vehicles

Practical solutions for reducing motor vehicle exhaust emissions in urban environments are under consideration by governmental officials at the UN/ECE (United Nations Economic Commission for Europe) in Geneva.Among them is the use of non-conventional fuels for the propulsion of road 'vehicles which is being examined with a view to facilitating - through an appropriate set of technical provisions -the introduction of non-conventional fuels onto the market for existing or "dedicated" internal combustion engines.
