Provided are a method for preparing fast-fermented soybean paste having a soybean form, and fast-fermented soybean paste prepared thereby. The method for preparing fast-fermented soybean paste having a soybean form comprises: a steaming step (a) of steaming soybeans; a fermentation step (b) of injecting any one of a Bacillus firmus and a Bacillus subtilis to the steamed soybeans to ferment the soybeans into fast-fermented soybean paste; a first freezing and drying step (c) of drying the fermented fast-fermented soybean paste in a freezing dryer; an impregnating step (d) of preparing at least one juice selected from leaves and stems of Angelica gigas, and hot water extract of licorice, mixing the at least one juice and the hot water extract of licorice with each other by using at least one selected from leaves and stems of Angelica gigas, and the licorice in a weight ratio of 7:3 and 9:1 to prepare a composition for impregnation, and impregnating the fast-fermented soybean paste prepared in the step (c) with the composition for impregnation; and a second freezing and drying step (e) of drying again the fast-fermented soybean paste impregnated with the composition for impregnation in the freezing dryer. According to the present invention, the method is able to significantly reduce a unique smell of the fast-fermented soybean paste.
