The present invention relates to a system and method for implementing a virtual drone design through automatic recognition of a drone in order to automatically recognize a drone in a stadium or the like and provide more accurate location information. A virtual drone design realization system through automatic recognition of a drone shape according to an embodiment of the present invention includes an image acquisition unit for acquiring images including space and drones in real time, and a drone shape in an image acquired by the image acquisition unit. A drone shape recognition unit for recognizing, a drone state estimation unit for estimating a posture and a position according to the movement of the recognized drone, and a plurality of drone designs pre-stored to correspond to the positions and postures of the drone estimated from the drone state estimator And a drone display unit for selecting one and displaying it in the virtual space. According to an aspect of the present invention, the drone state estimator may estimate a drone state through at least one of a sensor attached to the drone, a satellite positioning system (GNSS), a plurality of infrared cameras, and an infrared marker. According to an aspect of the present invention, the virtual space may implement a precision 3D numerical model based on LiDAR or a camera. According to an aspect of the present invention, a plurality of reference points are displayed at a position that is a background of an image by a satellite positioning system (GNSS), and position data can be corrected by comparing with corresponding reference points in the modeled virtual space. A position correction unit may be further included.
