Laser - Fusion (For Pedestrians)

摘要

In this paper the physics of laser fusion is described on an elementary level. The interaction physics between laser and matter leading to thermonuclear burn is summarized. In addition to the laser-plasma physics, the Nd high power pulsed laser is described. The concept of reactors for laser fusion and the necessary laser system are discussed.
