Interpreting Discourse in a Simple Office Environment

The paper reports on the Discourse Interpretation System (or DIS for short) that has been developed as part of ESPRIT project OS82. The introductory first chapter discusses the general requirements that have influenced the design of the interpretation system and then proceeds to give an overview of the system.
