Synchronization of Weakly Coupled Relaxation Oscillators

Existence and approximation problems for periodic solutions of a system of weakly coupled relaxation oscillators are reduced to an algebraic problem. The starting point is a theorem by Mishchenko on periodic solutions of certain singularly perturbed ordinary differential equations. The results obtained are then used to prove some theorems relating to mutually synchronized relaxation oscillations as prototypes of oscillating systems in biology.
