摘要

A 1 ns risetime gallium-doped germanium detector was used to record time-resolved FIR pulses at wavelengths between 114 micrometers and 50 micrometers from D2O vapour pumped by the 9.6 micrometer band CO2 TEA laser transitions at R(12) and P(32). Average powers of 6 MW and 11 MW respectively were measured. Fabry-Perot spectroscopy identified the dominant FIR output pumped by R(12) as 112 + or - 3 micrometers, while P(32) pumping gave 66 + or - 2 micrometers, 117 + or - 2 micrometers and 50.0 + or - 0.5 micrometers in the approximate ratio 100:10:1 at the laser window.
