Today's operators are focused on safety and lifecycle costs. Replacing a broken chain leg is a considerable cost, and large consequential damages may also result from chain failure. Aker Solutions is confident that chain failures on proj-ects can be avoided with its Pusnes Eccentric Fairlead Chain Stopper~(TM) as the end termination on the hull.
