A study of managers working in a Pakistan food and beverage company has shown that an "authentic leadership" style enhances the career success of employees. Specifically, the results revealed that authentic leadership contributes to employees' perceptions of career satisfaction, and their status. It also boosts their "career-self-efficacy", leading them to fulfil their potential and achieve their goals more often.
