摘要

This qualitative exploratory study, based on the theoretical principles of Grounded Theory, aims to explore students' perceptions of the utilization of learning resources in computer programming courses. The study employed an open class discussion, a survey, and semi-structured interviews for data collection. Data analysis was performed in an iterative and deductive manner, using open, selective and theoretical coding. Two coding schemes were developed from this process; one that conceptualizes the 'reason' and one that identifies the 'selection criteria'. Finally, the theoretical framework that emerged outlines relationships between the reasons why, and the purposes for which, students utilize learning resources.
