Spire STL Pipeline LLC (CP17-40) filed an abbreviated application May 2, for a limited amendment to its August 2018 certificate for a new natural gas pipeline. Spire explained that, due to the increase in the overall cost of construction of the project, it is seeking to revise the initial cost-based recourse rates for service on the project. Spire asked the Commission to approve the amendment by June 17, 2019, to provide it with sufficient time to prepare its negotiated rate tariff filing 30-60 days prior to placing the project into service, which is anticipated to be Aug. 1, 2019.
