The livestock industry worldwide is facing problems caused by the release of greenhouse gasses, soil degradation and a declining supply of water. During the 24th Alltech symposium most of the presentations on poultry production emphasised reversing the destructive trend by focussing on more efficient feed conversion, reducing excretion of minerals and enhancing growth and reproductive efficiency.
