US PE rising as Asian prices climb

Asian polyethylene prices continued to firm from the bullish naphtha and ethylene markets, climbing us25/mt from the first week in March, a Mar 12 Platts survey showed. Traders and distributors in China were buying cargoes quickly, in anticipation of further price increases.
