According to In-nova Market Insights estimates, it is worth about €100 bn a year, with sauces and seasonings accounting for 85 percent of this. Sauces and seasonings also, perhaps unsurprisingly, has much higher levels of NPD and also saw ongoing growth in launch activity in 2018. Numbers in the smaller and less diverse soup category rose only marginally.
