It's no secret that plasmas are easier to make in larger sizes than LCD. But what better way to prove it than by pushing a 60-inch plasma television out into the market. The specs put the weight at 75kg, and we can vouch for it. It took five people to pick it up, just to place it on the stand. In fact, the TV is so large, that you'll be wondering if it'll look better on the floor or on a tabletop. But it's not just the size that's impressive, the performance matches the persona. It's full HD (supporting resolutions upto 1920 × 1080) and offers all the standard connectivity options like HDMI, Composite and Component which means that you're safely future proof. Of course, with a TV this size, it would be sacrilege to feed it anything other than the finest HD content. Game consoles, upscaling DVD players, Blu-Ray; they all look great. But until we get proper HD DTH set top boxes, it's best to keep another TV for that. And hey, if you can afford this beast, you can surely afford to get another smaller TV right? Even with HD content, the viewing distance matters with a screen of this size.
