The luminance correction apparatus includes a color coordinate data receiver, a white luminance data receiver, a luminance separator, a luminance ratio calculator, a target luminance calculator, and a luminance corrector. The chromaticity coordinate data receiving unit receives the first chromaticity coordinate data of the first display module and the second chromaticity coordinate data of the second display module. The white luminance data receiver receives the first white luminance data of the first display module and the second white luminance data of the second display module. The luminance separator separates the first luminance of the first display module from the first chromaticity coordinate data and the first white luminance data and separates the second luminance of the second display module from the second chromaticity coordinate data and the second white luminance data. The luminance ratio calculation unit calculates the ratio of the second luminance to the first luminance and outputs the first luminance ratio. The target luminance calculator divides the second luminance by the first luminance ratio and outputs the first target luminance of the second display module. The luminance correction section outputs the first luminance correction data for correcting the second luminance of the second display module from the first target luminance. Therefore, the display quality of the display device can be improved.;
