摘要

Temporal filtering supports a variety of neural coding and signal processing in our brain, such as sensory adaptation, dynamic input compression, and selective communication. In this letter, neuromorphic devices and circuits based on indium-zinc-oxide (IZO) electric-double-layer (EDL) transistors are proposed for biological filtering emulation. For the first time, biological band-pass filtering is emulated by a simple circuit with only two IZO EDL transistors. The resonant frequency can be modulated by the device and circuit parameters. Our results demonstrate the potential application of oxide-based EDL transistors in neuromorphic systems and brain-like computation.
