摘要

For building brain-inspired neuromorphic computing systems, one of the key challenges is physical realization of biological synapses with electronic devices. In this work, IZO-based electric-double-layer (EDL) transistors were fabricated for emulating synapse-like functions. In response to a sequence of input pulses, the EDL transistors can present short-term synaptic facilitation and depression. These two forms of short-term plasticity (STP) provide such devices with high-/low-pass filtering characteristics.
