董事会异质性、组织冗余与企业创新战略

     

摘要

基于高阶梯队理论和组织理论的双重视角,以2011-2015年沪深A股高校上市公司为样本,采用层次回归分析法实证考察董事会异质性对于创新战略的具体影响,以及组织冗余在其中的调节效应.研究结果表明,董事会不同维度异质性对企业创新战略实施的倾向性具有差异化影响,其中,教育水平异质性对创新战略具有负向作用;学术背景异质性对创新战略具有正向作用;而职业背景异质性对创新战略无显著作用;组织冗余正向调节董事会异质性与创新战略之间的关系.%Based on the dual perspective of upper echelons theory and organization theory,this paper chooses the listed companies in colleges and universities in Shanghai and Shenzhen stock exchanges from the year 2011 to 2015.This study applied the hierarchical regression analysis method to examine the specific impact of board heterogeneity on the firm innovation strategy,and the moderating effect of organizational slack.The results show as follows:board heterogeneity has a different influence on the tendency of implementation of the firm innovation strategy;board heterogeneity of education level has a negative effect on firm innovation strategy;heterogeneity of academic background has a positive effect on firm innovation strategy,while heterogeneity of professional background has no significant effect on innovation strategy;organizational shck positively moderates the relationship between board heterogeneity and firm innovation strategy.
