浅析电影《阿甘正传》之阿甘叙事

摘要

In the movie "Forrest Gump", a great proportion of the plot is unfolded through Forrest's chatting with others and recalling his experiences when waiting for the bus. During this process, Forrest is both the hero and narrator of the story. According to relevant theories put forward by W. C. Booth, there are usually several ways concerning a narrator's "telling" of "facts": stage setting, explanation of the meaning of an action, summary of thought processes or of events insignificant, description of physical events and details whenever such description cannot spring naturally from a character——while these also serve as the narrator Forrest's major ways of providing the story information.%电影《阿甘正传》中，大部分的情节是通过阿甘在等车时与人聊天、对其经历进行回忆而展开的。在此过程中，阿甘既是故事的主角，又是其叙述者。根据W.
