Due to the high standards of the integrative application of English, the composition has become the touchstone of the col-lege entrance examination of English, emphasizing not only in the writing skills of the students, but also in their abilities of commu-nication and expression. This essay aims at sharing the composi-tion class on how to deal with pictures and graphs, searching for an appropriate way to teach, inspiring the students' interests, and helping them improve their skills by establishing a"student-ori-ented" mode as well as applying the nonintellectual factors in teaching.%书面表达因其对于学生英语语言综合运用的高标准成为江苏省英语高考改革的“试金石”既强调了对学生书面表达能力方面的要求,又强调了对外交流信息,表达观点和态度等方面的要求。本文旨在集中对数据图表这一特型书面表达教学过程的分享,寻找出适合高中生认知特点的教学方式,并通过“以学生为中心”的写作教学环节的设计、非智力因素在写作指导中的应用及学生主体性地位意识的培养,激发其写作兴趣,积累写作素材,循序渐进地提高学生的写作水平。
