近年来,基于社会文化理论的二语习得研究发展迅速.该理论与长期主导二语习得研究的认知派理论在理论预设、核心概念和实证研究等诸多层面存在较大差异.从社会文化理论的发展脉络入手,阐明了该理论与文化历史心理学的关系及其与认知派理论的区别,同时通过分析和评价基于社会文化理论的实证研究,指出了该理论与教学实践的密切关系以及个体调节和教师干预在二语学习过程中的重要作用.%Recently,a wide range of research in second language acquisition(SLA)has been conducted from the perspective of sociocultural theory(SCT),which is quite different from the long-standing cognitivism-based SLA research in terms of theoretical principles,constructs and methods of empirical studies.This paper sets out to elucidate the origin of SCT,i.e.,cultural-historical psychology developed by the Russian psychologist Vygotsky and analyze the difference between SCT and cognitivism in SLA.Based on the analysis of empirical studies in SCT,this paper points out the significance of individual mediation and instructional scaffolding in second language learning and teaching.
