基础教育性别公平的理想追求与现实困境--巴基斯坦女童教育问题探析

     

摘要

In recent years, Pakistan government has made great efforts to improve the quality of national basic education, but the gender inequality is prominent in Pakistan basic education, and girls’ education is facing serious challenges. Influenced by the national financial crisis, inadequate educational investment, traditional social bias against girls and regional violent conflicts, Pakistan girls’ net enrollment rate and literacy rate are both far behind the boys’. Pakistan government should invest more on education, implement free compulsory education, and take practical measures to promote girls’ education, so as to boost sound development in the national basic education.%近年来,巴基斯坦为提高基础教育水平做出了诸多的努力,但基础教育性别不公平现象普遍,女童教育面临着严峻的挑战。由于经济落后,教育投入不足,并受陈旧的社会观念和地方暴力冲突影响,巴基斯坦女童的净入学率和识字率都远低于男童。巴基斯坦应加大教育投入,切实实施小学免费义务教育,采取措施促进女童教育,才能有效地促进基础教育健康发展。
