多义词习得是英语词汇学习的重点也是难点之一,如何提高学生的多义词习得能力,自然成为大学英语教学的焦点。该研究以北方民族大学160名非英语专业本科生为调查对象,通过课堂多义词测试和问卷调查方式对他们的多义词习得现状进行调查,分析造成该现状的原因,进而为英语多义词教学提供参考。%Polysemy acquisition is one of the important and difficult points in English vocabulary learning. How to cultivate stu-dents’abilities to listen and speak has become a topical issue. A polysemous word test and a questionnaire concerning the current situation about polysemy acquisition are conducted to 160 non-English majors of Beifang University of Nationalities. The pur-pose of this study is to find out the causes of this situation and aims to improve polysemy teaching.
