非英语专业学生的英语听说能力低下是不争的事实,也是长期困扰高校外语教学的一大难题。如何提高学生的听说能力,自然成为大学英语教学的焦点。该文以150名非英语专业本科生为调查对象,通过问卷方式对他们的英语听说能力及影响因素进行了调查,分析结果反映出这些因素在不同程度上影响学生听说能力的提高。因此,有必要对这些因素加以分析和研究,进而找出提高大学生听说能力的有效途径。%It seems indisputable that non-English majors’listening and speaking competence is relatively weak, which bothers college English teaching for a long period. How to cultivate students’abilities to listen and speak has become a topical issue. A questionnaire concerning factors that influence students’listening and speaking competence is conducted to 150 non-English ma⁃jors. The purpose of this study is to find out how and to what degree these factors affect students’listening and speaking compe⁃tence, and then attempt to find the effective ways to improve.
