从林语堂诗歌翻译浅谈其文化变译思想

摘要

Lin Yutang is one of the masters of culture exchange through translation. Thirty years’experience in the west coun⁃tries enriched his knowledge on both Chinese and Western culture,helping him to build his great reputaiton in the world litera⁃ture area. This paper researches on his poem translation and translation theory. The author finds his translation theory could help with the global spread of traditional chinese culture, maintaining traditional cultural elements during translation.%　　林语堂是中国文化对外翻译与传播的一代大师。30多年的国外学习生活经历赋予他深厚的中、西方文化底蕴，造就了他在文学界及翻译界稳固的国际地位。该文以其生前翻译的诗歌为例，分析其创作后期所持的文化变译思想，结合中国文化对外传播现状，指出文化变译理论能有效指导中国文化对外译介，让外国读者能真正了解中国文化内涵，保存译本的“中国腔”。
