Analysis of two English Versions of Poems in Hong Lou Meng:from the Perspective of Schema Theory

摘要

The paper introduces the application of schema in translation and applies it to the analysis of two English versions of poems in HLM in terms of formal schema,language schema and content schema respectively.It probes into the reasons for three different English versions,exploring corresponding translation strategies to clear away the comprehension obstruction by the difference of schema during translating.
