Through qualitative method, this paper makes an investigation of the language learning anxiety, learning motivation, and language proficiency of the 240 Non-English majors in a normal university. Research indicates that:there is a significantly nega-tive correlation between foreign language anxiety and language proficiency, and the foreign language anxiety of those with higher level of learning motivation is significantly lower than that of those with a lower level of learning motivation.%该研究通过定量分析方法对师范学院非英语专业学生的240名学生的语言学习焦虑、学习动机、英语成绩进行了调查分析.结果显示:语言学习焦虑与学习成绩呈显著负相关,学习动机强的学生的语言学习焦虑水平显著低于学习动机弱的学生的语言学习焦虑水平.
