转述动词的感情色彩与英语新闻的客观性--基于新闻语料库BROWNA和LOBA的研究

摘要

This paper is devoted to analyzing the distribution of reporting verbs in two news corpora and their influence on the ob-jectivity of news reportage. It found that neutral reporting verbs are mostly used to enhance the objectivity of news reportage, but positive and negative reporting verbs can reflect attitudes and opinions of both speakers and journalists, therefore, they can influence the objectivity of news reportage and readers’understanding of news.%该文分析新闻语料库BROWNA和LOBA中具有感情色彩的转述动词的分布及其对英语新闻报道客观性的影响。通过分析，该文发现中性转述动词在两个语料库中大量使用，可以有效增强报道的公正性、客观性和准确性，而积极转述动词和消极转述动词的使用渗透着被转述者或作者的态度和观点，影响了新闻报道的客观性。
