The Functions of Evidentiality in English News Corpus from the Perspective of Transitivity based on the Data Mining

Due to the social attributes of news reports, the language in news corpus, however, is influenced by the ideology and attitude of journalists in one way or another. By analyzing the Evidentiality in news texts from the perspective of transitivity based on the Data Mining, the functions of evidentiality are: 1. Evidentiality is about the speaker's expression of source of information and his commitment to the reliability of information. 2. Evidentiality Plays the Dynamic Function between the Reporter and the Reader.
