The world-class disciplines construction should not only be focused on its academic nature but also practical one. The former emphasizes world-class disciplines'academic leading position,but the latter emphasizes its outstanding contributions for the society. However,the academic nature and practical nature are the unity of opposites,and they jointly promote the formation and development of the world- class disciplines. During the construction of world-class disciplines to promote the unity of the academic and practical,the government should adhere to the standards of selecting the requirements and picking winners together,the universities should construct the superior discipline group from theory and practice combination,the disciplines organization should improve the ability of docking the major national demands,and scholars should carry out"problem-oriented"original research.%世界一流学科建设既要注重学术性,又要体现实践性.前者强调世界一流学科的学术领先地位,后者强调世界一流学科的社会卓越贡献.不过,学术性与实践性并非各自独立、互相排斥,而是相辅相成、相得益彰,它们共同推动着世界一流学科的形成与发展.为促进学术性与实践性的融合,在建设世界一流学科的过程中,政府应坚持择需与择优相结合的遴选标准,高校应构建理实结合的优势学科群,学科组织应提升对接国家重大需求的能力,学者应开展问题导向的原创性研究.
