In order to improve the high temperature stability of the SnO2 nanopowders ,a series of Ce‐doped SnO2 nanopowders with various doping concentrations were prepared by chemical co‐precipitation technique ,and the prepared nanopowders were characterized by X‐ray diffrac‐tion (XRD) ,transmission electron microscopy (TEM ) ,and X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) .The results show that Ce doping can obviously prevent the growth of nanosized SnO2 crystallites .When the molar ratio of Ce reaches and surpasses 10% ,SnO2 crystallite size rea‐ches a minimum value and remains almost constant .The effect of Ce doping on hindering crys‐tallite grow th can be attributed to the solute drag and lattice distortion resulting from Ce dis‐solving in the bulk phase of SnO2 to form solid solution .%为提高纳米SnO2粉体的高温稳定性,采用化学共沉淀法制备不同铈(Ce)掺杂含量的纳米SnO2粉体,并采用X射线衍射(XRD)、透射电镜(TEM)、X射线光电子谱分析(XPS)等测试手段对其结构进行表征。结果表明,Ce的掺杂明显抑制了SnO2晶粒的长大,提高了其在高温下的稳定性。当掺杂物C e的摩尔比低于10%时,晶粒大小随掺杂含量的增加下降非常显著,但随后继续增加掺杂含量,则对晶粒大小无影响。掺杂物Ce对SnO2晶粒长大的阻碍作用主要归因于其固溶于SnO2晶粒内部产生了溶质拖曳和晶格畸变效应。
