荷尔德林与惠特曼诗学中的希腊理念

虽然荷尔德林与惠特曼之间并无直接的思想传承关系，但是，他们对诗人与哲人的理解，对诗歌与哲学价值的规定，对生命与理性的执著探索，却有着异曲同工之妙。追溯其思想根源，可以发现，希腊理念或希腊文化传统，在不同程度上作用于荷尔德林与惠特曼的诗歌与诗学，事实上，这种希腊传统是西方诗学思想的根本精神所在。%Although there is no direct inheritance between the idea of Holderlin and that of Whitman, they do have some common points in interpretation of the poet and philosopher, definition of the value of poetry and philosophy, and persistent exploration of life and rationality. Tracing of their ideological roots, it can be seen that Greek philosophy or Greek cultural tradition has influenced Holderlin and Whitman’s poetry and poetics in varying degrees. In fact, the fundamental spirit of the Western poetic thoughts just lies in the Greek tradition.
